A South Phoenix man is dead after being shot multiple times on September 25. Police are searching for the suspect in the shooting.
The victim, Hamzah Sirajaldin, 32, was found shot multiple times in the area of 17th Avenue and Mountain View around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released any information about the suspect or the motive for the shooting. They are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact them at 602-262-6151.
Sirajaldin was a well-liked member of the community. He was known for his positive attitude and his willingness to help others. He graduated from high school in 2011 and was working as a sales representative at a local car dealership.
Sirajaldin’s death has left his family and friends in shock. They are describing him as a loving son, brother, and friend. They are asking for the public’s help in finding the person responsible for his death.
“Hamzah was a kind and gentle soul,” his sister, Amira Sirajaldin, said. “He was always there for his family and friends. We are devastated by his loss. We just want to know who did this and why.”
